“ We stopped in on Memorial Day for happy hour great atmosphere with fantastic outside seating. We stop there alot and will continue to do so with good prices, and always friendly service we did meet the owner today super nice guy which explains why it IS the place to go! ”
“ Very nice environment to enjoy your meal. Breakfast was delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and my spouse had the country fried steak and eggs. There was a significant wait for the food. I kept in mind they are a new business working the kinks out. Our server was so friendly and kind. If you go ask for Efram!! Definitely recommend a visit. ”
“ I started coming here pretty regularly the last several months. It’s a unique vibe for a sports bar surrounded with hunting trophies throughout - including a polar bear and lion. The food is great too - if I’m not taking advantage of one of their daily specials I’ll often get the Chicken and Strawberry salad. I’ll often come here in the middle of the day for a quick Mango nonalcoholic beer that one do the staff recommended me. Staff here has been attentive, friendly, and do a good job at getting to knelt her patrons. ”

“ I was hoping that TAVERN 22 would be good, being that it’s only a mile or so down the road from where I live, I wanted to add it to my list of “go-to” places that were close to me and conveniently easy to get to...I was NOT disappointed...my cousin and I went on a Friday nite, which is normally “burgers and beer” night, but we were grilling burgers and hotdogs the next nite for our “monthly poker get together” so we had to consult they’re quite large menu for something else...The Tavern was rumored to have good chicken, as well as they’re famous “Juicy Lucy’s”(hamburgers stuffed with cheese) originally introduced to Rochester by the NEWT’S restaurant some years ago...Our waitress Sara (ask for her, she’s GREAT!) confirmed that the chicken was good, so I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich w/coleslaw and my cousin with his larger appetite went with the 1/2 chicken dinner...EXELLENT, is the only word that comes to mind here, piping hot and served up quickly, despite it being a Friday nite...The Tavern is large and split into two sections, one side a family oriented restaurant and the other side a bar with a “sports and game” atmosphere, the latter being a GREAT place to take in a Twins or a Vikings game...In summary, I’ll be going back soon, and I think I’ll have another crispy chicken sandwich and cold beer! Heck, in the summer you can grill your own burgers!!...but just TRY and make chicken like THIS..See you there!! ”
“ Great food and service! The prices are good, especially the lunch special. Makaya was a great bartender and made a killer bloody mary. Cheese curds were some od the best we had and 1/2 sandwich lunch specials with a side were so filling. The vibe is great at the bat, table or outside. Been here a couple times when we've visited and will definitely be back next trip! ”
